A few useful things to know
Can I use this for a mortgage, car loan or personal loan?
Yes, if it follows one of these repayment structures. Select the repayment method from the contract, then enter its amount, nominal rate and term. Fees, variable rates, payment holidays and early repayments are not included.
What is the risk with interest-only payments?
The original loan is still owed at the end. The schedule includes the entire outstanding principal in the final payment.
Why might my lender show a different amount?
Lenders may include fees, insurance, different payment dates and different interest calculations. This is a simplified fixed-rate monthly estimate, not the effective annual percentage rate.
